2. How we use your information and our lawful basis

3. Cookies and third-party tools
Our website embeds the following third-party tools, which may set cookies or collect technical data when you interact with them:
- Booking and contact forms (LeadConnector): our discovery-call calendar and contact form are provided via our scheduling/CRM platform (link.rankgenics.com). These set cookies needed to display and operate the booking and form widgets.
- Google Maps: our contact page embeds a Google Map, which may set cookies and collect data under Google's privacy policy.
We do not use Google Analytics or advertising/marketing pixels (such as the Meta/Facebook Pixel) on this website. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the booking or map features work.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate our business – for example, our scheduling/CRM and email providers – and where required by law. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
5. International transfers
We serve clients in the UK and internationally (including the United States). Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law.
6. How long we keep your information
- Client and project records: retained for up to 6 years after the end of our engagement, to meet contractual, tax and accounting requirements.
- Enquiries that do not become projects: retained for up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Marketing/newsletter data: retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email haider@brutsole.co.uk.
8. Complaints
